Wood Fired Hot Tub

This heater is designed to go into a Rubbermaid 150 or 300-gallon stock tank. The heater just lifts out of the tub. Heater weighs about 40 lbs. This unit is very portable.  Rule of thumb is the heater will bring 130 gallons of water up 50 degrees in an hour. Once you acquire your heater and tub, all that is needed is water and wood. Wood is the best fuel but other fuels coal, oil, and diesel will work. It takes approximately 15 lbs of wood to do a hot tubing.  This is an excellent unit for camping or hunting. After a hard day of hiking and being cold, there is nothing like sitting back in a hot tub of water under the stars. I use this unit about 3 times a week at home.  A 150-gallon Rubbermaid stock tank works excellent for your hot tub or spa, sells for approximately $150. You will also need 10 feet of 4" pipe for a chimney. Best to get this locally as shipping charges are high for the chimney pipe. The heater can also be used in a 55 -gallon barrel. Another use is to keep drinking water from freezing so your cattle or horses have water available.
