Don't add bleach because the light brown towels that I bought turned pink.

Comment: Nice towels, the quality looks good. I only gave 3 stars because I would have gladly paid more to get towels made in the USA. Somehow I missed that these are made in China. (I try to avoid buying anything from China.) I haven't actually used the towels yet, as I plan to wash them thoroughly several times first.

Comment: I bought these when they were priced at $5.99 w/free delivery but I think they are worth even full price. They are absorbent, durable and come in a good range of colors that match up well to my kitchen.

The three kitchen towels in this set are each different to ensure that drying dishes never gets boring. Woven of 100-percent cotton in a thick 'popcorn' texture, the towels offer excellent absorbency and easy care. Simply toss a dirty one in the washing machine. The set is an economical way to keep a steady supply on hand, and makes a great housewarming gift. Each towel measures approximately 16 by 28 inches before initial washing and drying, during which some shrinkage may occur. --Ann Bieri
