An Easy to Build and Operate Induction Generator http://www.qsl.net/ns8o/Induction_Generator.html

This page describes details of a homebrew air compressor, using a Briggs and Stratton lawn mower engine driven by a washing machine motor. If you've always wanted a compressor, but never gotten around to buying one, now you can put one together with a little patience and a few scavenged parts.

These incredible ROTARY COMPRESSORS were made for the Swiss Armed Forces by Gebruder Sulzer. They average less than 50 hours total time and are powered by a standard 1600cc Industrial VW ENGINE. Output is approximately 100 cfm, 100 psi on dual outlets. Uses standard hose fittings. The unit can be disassembled (4 bolts) into two parts with collapsible lifting arms to aid in portability. Perfect for 90# jackhammer, nail guns, sandblasters, etc This is a most beautiful example of Swiss/German engineering. Shipping weight approximately 550 #. http://www.umog.com/vwcompress/

This page is intended as a basic how-to on converting a lawn mower to electric for those who have the basic know how. Hopefully this will be easy enough, that most of you can do it. I will be adding pictures after I get them developed. This does not cover self propelled mowers. http://1stclass.mylargescale.com/Capdiamont/lawn_mower_conversion.html
