Polehouses – Economical, Environmental, and Access Friendly
We were recently sent a link to this interesting construction method. Now we have built pole barns, and worked with timber frames before, and these are a variation on the theme. We like the Polynesian look, and the ability to only lightly disturb the building lot. None of the walls are load bearing, so it allows great customization. With natural building materials, solar, and rain water harvesting and greywater recycling technology, these units are very environmentally friendly, plus handicap accessible for when we grow older. We think you will find these homes interesting as well.
